This is a classic story of a bad start on
a restoration. This car came to us with much damage done to it and
the customer's wallet by 2 guys who promised to restore his
car. They took his money, did a lot of damage to the car, then left
town. They removed the rear end and suspension, then cut the side
rails off the frame, for no purpose we can determine. We
hauled it in on dollies, took the body off the frame and went to
work.

The side of the frame rail had been removed and new
metal had to be fabricated to repair it.

This door needed a little body work before they
started. Now it needs a lot.

All repairs to the floorpan and trunk were done with
brazing rather than welding and no grinding was done.

At this point we have restored the frame and
suspension and will soon be putting the body on a Rotisserie.
