The IRONMAN All World Athlete program is our way of rewarding age-group athletes for their hard work, dedication, and performance across IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 racing.
* At select races
** A limited number of priority entries will be offered at key events.
*** Exclusive to AWA Gold status athletes.
Please Note: In order to receive on-site benefits when registering for races, please be consistent with your email address and the format and spelling of your name. You must register prior to the 4-week cut-off date to be eligible for personalized race materials including low bib numbering, priority bike racks and AWA logo on your race bib.
In light of the effects of the pandemic resulting in new, on-site race number assignment in some locations, we regretfully cannot guarantee priority bike racking and bib personalization.
Using the Age Group Ranking (AGR) system, we determine which athletes have finished within the top 10 percent or better of their age group each calendar year. Within this system, athletes generate points based on their finish time behind the first official finisher in their age group. Athletes accumulate points at every race they complete, but on December 31st, only their top three performances will count toward their All World Athlete status. This makes it easy for athletes to improve their ranking on their own racing schedule.
